Cyclist

We went into Victoria for an appointment today.  I'd hoped to get something with a Scottish theme for St. Andrew's Day but didn't get a chance. So here's a cyclist that I took through the window as we drove along the highway under construction.  The camera only came out of the bag when I was in the car.
Another blipper mentioned linking to a favourite Scottish song.  I'd have a hard time choosing a favourite, but anything played on the pipes tugs at my heartstring.  I belong to the Boyd clan and the Scott clan and always identify as Scottish, although I am a Canadian citizen.  My family lived in Dennistoun until we came to Canada. I played in a pipe band, so I thought I'd include a link to the Simon Fraser University Pipe Band playing in St. Enoch's Square in Glasgow earlier this year. The band has won the World Championships in the past.  Kalyn now attends Simon Fraser and plays for the volleyball Clan (the uni teams' name), so that all seems to fit for the day. When students graduate, the pipe band leads them through the campus.  I'll be a total wreck when Kalyn graduates when I see her following the band. I tear up even thinking of it!  :)
