Lower Orchard and Marsh

It was another very cold night with lots of frost around this morning, but by 0930 hours it was raining again, although it did not rain for very long, but it has been cold all day.

I took some pictures this morning of the frozen garden and decided on this one which shows the ice on the pond. You could compare it with the one I took last year on the 15 December 2011 which was part of a series showing the weather throughout the year; the pond was non-existent!
