Erosion

This island, Kauai, emerged from the ocean about 4 million years ago and has been eroding pretty well ever since.  All around the waterfront there are countless examples, happening everywhere.  I suppose, in another million years or so, the island will be gone.  But don't worry, there will be  some new ones somewhere else
