One of the best things about the internet that I have found recently is that it can reunite long lost friends, in my case the best Christmas present ever, is the fact that I have been contacted by such a friend.

My friend Dorte from Denmark was my closest friend 15 years ago and we lost touch, she found me recently and I was crying with happiness, she was my student years ago, and now she is married with three lovely kids, living out in the Danish countryside.

We spent happy times together in Edinburgh and Copenhagen.

Today she sent me a parcel containing this lovely traditional Snow Man - in Danish - Snemande !

Its so wonderful to find a lost friend !
