A man with a plan....

A p...ing wet morning. Was on to my 3rd dry coat by 10am. Needing to get more cows and calves in but need a dry day to clip the ones I ran in yesterday so I can mix them into another shed to free up an empty shed for the ones outside- so catch 22 .
Mr Brown from Murray Farmcare in to do the annual Health Plan for the cattle and sheep. Wasn’t too bad as nothing much has changed since last year. The only real change is the sheep wormer we will use . There are 3 main types and we use a different type each year to help avoid worm resistance caused by the continuous use of the same type .
Once everything was fed tonight spent an hour splitting firewood . Discovered despite my brain still thinking I’m in my 20s that my body is definitely 3 decades older !
