Maceration.

This might be a little late but the dried fruit for the first ever Christmas cake I've made is currently macerating and, just to be on the safe side, I've added a little more brandy.

My, it was windy this morning! I moved my work around a little and was at the local cottage first thing, it neighbours an open field adjacent the the River Test. The wind was howling across the field and actually blew my tripod ladder along the path it was standing on.

After that things calmed down and the day was over before I realised.

Because RF had a choir performance this evening I walked Murphy and Willis. (Note to self, don't walk in the woods in the dark with 2 dogs on extending leads, it gets very confusing!)
