Raking up the leaves

Today's picture is courtesy of Dad / Grandpa.  Granny and Grandpa have done a sterling job yesterday and today looking after the boys.  I worked from their house today and got what I needed to get done, done.  Into the office early tomorrow morning to catch up.  Part of today's entertainment included raking up the leaves in the garden, the eldest is pretty good at it!

It's been a lovely day really.  Took the boys to feed the ducks with Granny this morning (to blow away the cobwebs and get the boys outside).  Then, at lunch time, the husband and I had a very important appointment to go and sign for our new house - exchange should be tomorrow.  I think we're both just so relieved that it's finally happening and we can relax a little now.  Aside from having to finish the packing... but after that comes the really exciting bit of unpacking, planning a new kitchen and decorating the place.

We took the boys out again this afternoon for a bit of a run around and ended up in the play area of a local pub, complete with children playing after school whilst their mothers had a quick drink after doing the school run!  The youngest cried all the way back to Granny and Grandpa's, then was bundled into the car for the journey home, falling fast asleep within 5 minutes.
