Great excitement at work today as the Activities Co-ordinator arranged for the local fire service to visit with a fire engine to give the residents a talk and a chance to look at in detail and sit in the fire engine. (I think some of the staff were mighty impressed too).   Unfortunately she didn't make the General Manager aware that they were coming and when he came back from a meeting and saw the fire engine outside the door panic stations set in.  The lady driver even activated the flashing blue lights and siren as they were about to leave, all in all the visit was voted a great success.
