AbstractThursday179 Still Life...

Today's theme, for AT, kindly set by Ingeborg, is Still Life.  My chosen objects are all from a range of plastic tableware for children by Ikea and are almost as  as colourful in reality as they are in my abstracted version.  I've just used Picasa today, to edit a phone shot so neither the main nor extra are truly abstract but I do like their cheerfulness.
Cheerfulness was required in spades by Mr MC and myself during the last 24 hours when we received bad news, followed by good.  Yesterday we learned via a forwarded email that the buyers of our business have decided to pull out...what a waste of 6 months and our time in general.  Today Mr MC had an appointment with his consultant opthalmic surgeon, in which he would learn whether or not surgery would be required which on the one hand would prevent possible blindness but on the other have tremendous ramifications for many aspects of our lives...how thrilled were we when he was given a 'reprieve'.  No further negative changes and life can go on as 'normal' for at least the next 6 months.  So, something negative,  but something to celebrate for sure!
