Big and wet, watery puddle

It has poured and poured with rain today. Mary and I both got soaking wet walking down into town. I wanted to buy a new pair of slippers but wasn’t able to try them on because my socks were soaked. I took them home anyway as the lady in the Castle Warehouse said it was ok to bring them back if they didn’t fit. Fortunately they fitted perfectly. Mary has now taken them away to wrap them up for me to open at Christmas :-).
