Gymnocalycium shroederianum flower
Today I'm embarrassed by my blip. I didn't see any great photo op looming, so took a couple of quick shots of my cactus flowers this morning after they had opened with my iphone as some sort of insurance. Trouble is, they turned out surprisingly well, and now I'm home again after a busy day, it's grey and dull outside, so I'm not likely to get anything better.
These are pretty flowers, and the plant is doing very well this year, having produced five flowers all at once. The cacti seem to do well in our conservatory. They respond well to the warm, dry conditions, with lots of light.
My problem is, should I use the phone more, or is it just making me lazy?
