Hexham abbey

After a wild and windy walk in the morning, we set off for Hexham to visit the abbey. I’ve managed to complete the Gothic arch! The interpretation centre and the abbey were very interesting. The extras show an Anglo-Saxon bishop’s seat and the first century memorial to a Roman soldier.
