A Little Sparkle after the Storm

The pooches needed to take a quick walk through the backyard this morning and I enjoyed the glistening flowers that had just had a refreshing drink from the sky. I don't think my camera, nor I, did a very good job of capturing this, but it was good enough for today.

This has been a beautiful last day of November; it's my favorite month and I've enjoyed it immensely. I guess we are in the lull between the storms because it has hardly rained here today, just an on-and-off drizzle all day, but so enjoyable.

Mr. Fun needed to drive his 90-year-old mom to a late afternoon doctor's appointment. So when they finished-up, he phoned me and I met them at a restaurant so we could all have dinner together. Then he took her back to her home.

Now we are back home, in for the night, and on the entrance to a weekend, and I've made a dent in the pile of student papers that I need to grade. So I'm feeling good about that.
