Let's go for a ride

Today we took the bus to Durham to see the christmas market there. The last time I went was 2 years ago and it was just as good as I remembered! I love how cute and quirky a city Durham is with its cobbled streets, bridges, vintage shops...
The below freezing temperatures gave us an even greater excuse to drink mulled wine and to try all the food and wine samples. We didn't have time to see the little market around the main square but what we did see (including fire throwers) definitely put the Newcastle market to shame.
And what a better way to end our little day out than a 3 course meal at Bella Italia, where I had my first curry flavoured pizza!
