80 Years in Egypt for the British Council

The celebrations continue and tonight it was a party for the staff, complete with music, food, flowers, presentations and speeches. Unfortunately, there were hardly any teachers present as tomorrow is first day of term and so today was the last day of their break. I'd have stayed had I not had work that had to be done tonight. Our poor trainees have their first written assignment due in tomorrow and would have had to put up with the booming music tonight.
