Light my darkness

I do a little voluntary work editing Talking Newspapers for the blind community in Liverpool. Basically it just involves finding interesting articles from local newspapers and getting them read by a team of readers in order to create cassette tapes which are posted out on a weekly basis. One article I selected was about a blind artist who is displaying a "sound portrait" of herself at the Bluecoat Chambers, consisting of recordings of her friends and others describing how she looks. I must go and see (or hear) this, along with so many more wonderful artworks on display all over the city and beyond, in order not to waste the blessing that is sight.
