Great Egret

I took the morning off for a round of golf. There were two red tailed hawks that were chasing each other. I wasn't quick enough to get a shot of them. A bit worried that nothing interesting was popping up until we were approaching the 18th green. 

The Great Egret was standing in front of the oleanders. I got too close and it flew away. Those shots didn't come out great, but when it landed, it was in the perfect spot for me to get some good photos from the green.

I am grateful for a morning with friends and having it topped off with this beautiful bird. (no other birdies were found golf-wise).

Back to packing for me.
