All Time Low

The Yeovil & Port Vale players line up before tonight's game in front of empty stands in what was the lowest ever attendance for a league game at Huish Park. The official attendance was 2147 but I'd be very surprised if it was actually anywhere near that; they always include season ticket holders, whether or not they turn up.

The bad weather didn't help but many fans are disillusioned by our recent poor performances and have lost faith in the manager and angered by last week's decision to give him a new two year contract extension.

Last night's dismal performance (we were lucky to only lose 3-0) only made matters worse and a lot of those who were there left well before the final whistle.

The golf course was even more quiet in the morning, although we managed to complete our round before the worst of the rain set in. Unfortunately, my score was nowhere near an all time low!
