Old Railroad Bridge

Near an abandoned luxury boat building yard can be found this railroad bridge going over the Brunswick River. In the background are the stacks of the Smith Creek Power Station, in the process of being converted from coal to gas. Anyone who has seen the new tv series "Revolution" may have seen the stacks, shown several times in the episodes. Most of the filming is done in the Wilmington area.

Hooray! After completing two years of uninterrupted postings, August through October have been hit or miss. I have now blipped each day for the entire month of November. Not always shots to brag about, but I have returned to the routine. Let's see what December brings.
