Standing Tall and Strong...

These brave red tall poppies are proudly standing in defiance of the flood waters around them. The Omaka Ford Culvert where some poppies, I have blipped previously were growing, has been washed out by floodwaters in the Taylor River after heavy rain. Maisie and I had to stick to walking on one side of the river only.
Margaret and Emily have returned to Wellington today. Keith is pleased to be home and back into his usual routines. All is well for now.
