Mom then water

I forgot to take my camera when I visited my mom, so I'm posting this picture of me finishing my first "downwinder" from Wildcat Cove to Marine Park. Paul's phone did the fancy three-in-one action. "Downwinding" means catching waves and riding them for a bit--and I'm happy to say I caught a few!

When I told my mom I was going to be doing that later, she said emphatically, "I don't want to take off my shoes." I interpreted that to mean, "What?! It's cold out there!"
