Blowing down the Firth
They say tomorrow will be wild and warm - or warmer - but today was quite wild enough, as a bitter north-east wind whipped up the waves and drove us along the West Bay with our hoods up. I'd had an interesting morning so far, creating a calendar to sell for the church - two of us had an enjoyable time selecting season-appropriate photos, more or less all taken around the church grounds and in the building.
There wasn't much of the scenic today, however - being a sucker for breaking waves I settled for this rather than the athletic collie dog leaping to catch a toy thrown by its owner on the beach, playing for all the world as if it was a still summer's day.
And now I'm off to choir practice. The wind seems to have dropped for now, and the pouring rain of the afternoon seems to be less enthusiastic - but goodness, it's hard to drag myself out again. I'll enjoy it once we start singing!
