Just waiting

I had to go to the ear specialist today because I am losing my hearing capacity and I have pain in my right ear too.
It seems there is nothing wrong with my ear, but I know I am finding more and more difficult to understand people talking when there is noise or in some programs on the television. The doctor says this is normal at my age.
Last night I watched an interview on television. A young reporter was asking some questions to a veteran journalist. The young man asked the journalist his age and he said he was 77. The young said: You have a great aspect for your age. The veteran journalist answered, Thanks, my aspect is the only thing that doesn't hurt!
I found his answer really funny and appropriate !
