A Hughenden treasure

This is a detail of the black silk damask robe in the Bartolozzi Room at Hughenden Manor, Buckinghamshire. The robe was used by Disraeli as Chancellor of the Exchequer. The robe was believed to have been made for William Pitt in the eighteenth century.
