G was looking after Mystère while we were away. As usual, she didn't see him. But I'd given him a collar with a bell on, so at least she could hear him fleeing upstairs as soon as she opened the front door. We got home at about 7, after a reasonably straightforward journey (footnote: Manchester airport is horrible. So noisy and crowded). I found him hiding under the bed, but once he realised it was me, he hurried downstairs yowling frantically. It's always lovely to have him back on your lap after an absence.
