Ice sculpture - Nr. Bonnington Farm, Peebles

30th November, its St. Andrew's Day and I have the day off work! This photograph was taken during a beautiful walk around Peebles in the sunshine. The icicle is especially interesting as rather than being formed by water dripping from above, its been formed by water splashing up from the stream below. I saw a dipper in the stream just down from this icile, and then later walking back to the house via the River Tweed, a little grebe. When we got back from the walk we had home-made soup followed by banana and lemon souffle - nice and warming after being out in the cold. A perfect day!
