Craftsman’s skills

In the Thai silk village we could observe the whole process from the eggs of the silkworms to the reeling of the gossamer silk filaments from the cocoon through the dyeing to weaving the filaments into a myriad of shimmering drapery. And I even bought a silk dress – but not an umbrella in the umbrella village (see extras).
