Yesterday was the big day for releasing Charlton into the big wide world . Capflap fitted and a few pushes in and out of it by myself and Jason he was ready for the off . I let him out without his breakfast as I thought it would make him want to come back sooner. I was so scared I would lose him but it is for the best . Off he went , the first time it was for an hour and hurray he popped back in the flap. I hugged and squeezed him so hard telling him how clever he was , he got ham as a reward . Twice more he went for over two hours each time but he came back looking very pleased with himself. Once it was dark I locked the catflap, I’m not ready to have him out at night just yet .
