Temper, temper .....

A day of cattle work.
First job was to bring in the 2nd calvers next door and shed off half a dozen of the cows and their calves to add to another field. The 20 calves that were left got their pneumonia vaccine, their backs clipped to stop them sweating and a worm / parasite dose . Then ran them and their mothers across to a shed here.
After lunch , spent the afternoon giving the 75 heifers from the slatted shed their second pneumonia vaccine injection.
By the time all that was done and everything was fed it was 7pm, so nipped away to fill up the Jerry cans with petrol. Went to Tesco as the Shell garage is 8p a litre dearer. Maybe I’m simple, but doesn’t it all come out the same hole in the ground ? Makes Dick Turpin seem like a Boy Scout !
This is a Blonde Aquitaine cross pure Limousin calf- 2 lots of continental blood makes for a lively out look on life !
