Arrow Marks the Spot

Or at least the arm anyway ;-)

I had surgery on my other shoulder today, nine months after the first one. I've been on the list for four months, so I'm glad it passed quickly.

I was slightly nervous the closer it got to the day, but I know that the outcome is really good and my other shoulder is much happier. 

The only snag was coming in at 7am but being last on the list meant I didn't go down until nearly 12pm, which by that time I just wanted a cup of tea! I dozed, answered lots of messages and perused the internet and listened to all the chatter at the nurses station but I was running out of distractions!

A couple of hours later I was back in recover, and made myself wake up around 5pm. I went home about 6pm, and although I'm feeling shaky and a little unsteady on my feet, I'm not in too much pain. Hoping to get a good night's sleep and not the morphine-induced itchiness that usually keeps me awake!
