Winter Window

This is our winter window, beautifully painted by the very talented Jenny Tribillon last night.  She had been working on a series of windows in a church all day so we kept her going with food and drink.  I asked for a mountain hare and I love it!  It is a winter window at the moment but will become much more Christmassy when we reach the festive season.

We had a leisurely get up this morning and then we did a few jobs including, unsuccessfully, trying to book flights for our holiday in Czech next year.  Tony had a voucher for his cancelled holiday to the Dolomites but apparently it hadn't come with some 'special number' so now he has to track down the employee who sent it out because they wouldn't deal with it over the phone, bah!

After lunch we drove over to Jen and Pete's to paint a few doors then it was time for a run with the Hobblers.  There were twelve of us out tonight, headtorches and high vis gear galore.  I reckon we must have looked like a light show coming down the pavement towards the park!

I wonder if I'll ever get a connection right in 'Only Connect'....
