The Ribblehead Viaduct

With awful weather forecast for the rest of the week I knabbed Mr P to take me out for a drive today before he had time to plan any more peaks or any more long distance paths. Still on crutches I'm nervous about walking far on my own in case I slip and damage my nice new hip. Looking at  Simon Jenkins' "England's 100 Best Views ", this one in Yorkshire is just 45 mins in the car from where we live and more importantly very close to the road.  Of the 12 best views in the North West,  11 of them are in the Lakes but I need to be more mobile before attempting most of them. This is one of 10 best views in Yorkshire.
