I spotted this beautiful flower arrangement with orchids and several amaryllis bulbs in a combination with other greens. Absolutely fantastic, don't you think? 
After some time having nothing to do I found myself with the task of felting little balls. They will be Christmas ornaments in different flower arrangements. The first thing that happened was that I stuck the needle straight into my finger. Big ouch! Second thing was that when I stuck the needle into the with foam thing, it broke... Apparently it's not unusual for the needles to break. They have small edges in the needle to help with the felting... that's not nice when it goes into the finger. 
My first try to decorate a ball was a... well, disaster... So, I needed to practice at home to see what will work tomorrow. Hearts work... Who doesn't want a heart on the Christmas ornaments?? If I had a needle and embroidery thread, I could do snowflakes and other delicate things, but not with felt. :D
