2018 Friday — Birthday Flowers

Our granddaughter Ashly had flowers delivered several days before my November 17th birthday. We kept the box they arrived in so we could transport them from SoCal to our place here in Cayucos. They traveled well and they still look beautiful, and their fragrance is lovely, if not a little powerful (especially after the house has been shut for several hours and we return from an outing).

Ashly knows I’m quite fond of stargazer lilies. She has gifted me with them several times.

P.S. Today, the day after Thanksgiving, is America’s biggest shopping day. We stayed home all day. I graded essays, ate leftovers, and just relaxed.
