Christmas Tree Hunting

We all went out in the country to cut down our Christmas trees this morning. It was the only day of the week that no rain was forecast so we figured we had to do it while we had the chance. While this picture was taken Brian was sawing down our tree and my husband was tying Steph’s to the car roof. Gus didn’t want to be in the picture and we later discovered he was running a 103 temperature which explained his mood!
Grateful today for...family traditions. It’s always muddy, there is a lot of indecision about which tree is best, and one of the kids always has to go to the bathroom. Tis the season.
