He sees you when you’re sleeping....

the crazy child found the tinsel. So she dug out her favourite Santa hat and danced, sang and laughed.

She was early at music today to practise her exam pieces with the director, who’s going to be accompanying her for clarinet. They also did some aural practise. I suspect this has been now raised with her teachers as despite our best efforts to get them to, nobody else had done it with her.

Her day was ok, she’s pretty frustrated with piano as her teacher is fabulous but always lets her out late so she’s late for her next class every week and is getting into trouble. She loved her improv lesson, was indifferent to ensemble and really didn’t enjoy her ensemble practise. She came out missing her B a lot consequently.... it’s been a long 7 weeks and another 10days to go.

She watched a Christmas movie when we got home as she did homework about climate change!

In an unprecedented move, I today put the lights on the Christmas tree. I’m planning to just enjoy the beautiful lights and smells of the tree until it’s December!
