Highs & Lows
Most of the day was spent alternating between seething rage and melancholy.
Brexit.
The weather made things worse - the habitual 6⁰, cloudy and occasionally wet. Like yesterday almost any attempt to get out was met with the start of a shower.
I did make it from the coffee shop at the harbour to the end of the west pier without getting soaked. That was good.
Things improved in the evening. I had a very good dinner in a Bengali restaurant (chicken with potatoes and vegetable pulau) in Edinburgh before heading to my son's team's ice hockey at 20:30.
They won 3:2 against Sheffield and he scored the opening goal. He plays in defence, so he doesn't score many. It was a really good game and it could have gone either way. Oddly enough they won 3:2 in Sheffield last weekend.
So, I'm finishing the day late (home just before 23:00) but in a better mindset.
The Blip is the November light (yes, again) at the harbour.
