Mycena

A day when it really never got light, the sun shrouded by a heavy grey pall of cloud. I was working at the computer for most of the day, but took a quick walk round Thorpe Wood at dusk - by the time I'd finished meandering through the wood it was nearly too dark to see.

The wet weather has brought forth a few more fungi, including this tiny Mycena, which was growing on the underside of a piece of loose bark. I have no idea which species it is - there are very many that all look surprisingly similar!
