Fortaleza table top mountain

The weather looked very promising so we decided to go for one of our regular walks which we last did in December 2017 when we had a friend staying. On starting out, we realised it must have rained early morning as parts of the rocky pathway that were in shade were still wet. It took 2 hours to get to our bus shelter lunch stop. We decided to abandon the usual second half of the walk and returned via the road, which wasn’t so interesting but we did see lots of fungi, see extra. The mountain top was a holy place of sacrifice for the original inhabitants.
