Very sad news from Scotland tonight that His Lordship, the dear husband of blipper Lady Findhorn has passed away. As I said on LF's journal page, his Lordship was truly one of a kind: a true gentleman, honourable soldier, successful business man, witty raconteur and, of course, loving husband to her. We met him several times and greatly enjoyed his company. My mum also spoke highly of HL, grateful that he took such an interest in her and showed her such courtesy. We will miss him in life and, also, on these pages which he graced so often through Lady Findhorn's richly-rendered pen portraits. Sending LF our love at this time of huge loss.
