Festive Fair

Chris & I did a bit of shopping this morning for someone's birthday which is coming up soon.

This afternoon, Tess & I went down to meet Kate & Sophie at a C.......... Fair just outside their village in a beautiful 14th Century Manor House called Blackmore Farm. The stalls were set our both inside the house, which was beautifully decked out in festive decorations, and in the grounds.

We made a few purchases, met a former student of mine who was running a stall, drank mulled wine and ate C........ pies and generally began to feel quite festive ourselves, even if it is a bit early.

This wreath was in the entrance porch to the house.
