Got Frogs?

So, after spending a peaceful 3 hours this morning at Sweetwater Wetlands Park, I came home to this large Red-shouldered Hawk. It was sitting in our Winged Elm tree, looking down into the pond. I'm sure it was hoping that 'BullFrog' would be on the menu. After about half an hour it flew off. I could have sworn the I heard the sound of amphibians breathing a collective sigh of relief!
The late Fall flowers were still quite impressive at Sweetwater. The 'Late Purple Asters', a Florida Native Wildflower, were everywhere (see today's *extras) as were Salt Bush (*extras).
