Silver Y Moth

This Silver Y Moth was on F’s garage door. They’re migrants from warmer parts of Europe and usually seen until October so this must be a hardy one to have survived the recent weather.

It’s also lucky that the sparrow colony that live in the eves of F’s house haven’t spotted it. In the summer they gobbled up a Red Underwing before I could blip it!
