Nippers

A busy day today for the Nippers.
Life saving and water skills for children.

Most of the people were on the beach ( as opposed to the sea) and I think that was because the water was quite hazardous today. For the the first time ( and hopefully the last) I saw a young man get into difficulties and had to be rescued.
Even though he was not far from the shore he couldn’t swim back and the undertow/ rip was taking him further out.
He was safely brought back to shore.
Next time hopefully he will check conditions before dipping a toe in the water.
