B&W challenge

Last year in the US there was a Black and White challenge going around the US, post one picture a day in B&W with no humans and no explanation. I was challenged my last week in Africa so I had cool pictures to post: the view out my hotel windows, my three pairs of shoes (crocs, Vibram 5 finger running shoes, and leather professional shoes), the airport on my way to South Africa, and at the end my stairs to my home. It was perfect.

This year a European friend challenged me and I only have ordinary life to portray. Deer. My dog walking. Today I was taking a wide view of my front windows since it was too rainy to take the camera outside. As you can see, Samuel my darling walked into the frame.

Today I figured out how to attach and use a flash. I now have way too many online classes on portraits and lighting and we'll see how much I can absorb before my session.

Today Karen came up with some shoe placements for the pictures. Tomorrow it will be warm and dry and sunny so tomorrow we take the shots.

Why am I having so much trouble uploading pictures lately?
