Christmas has arrived at Harriet Street! Now that the girls are fully recovered from their bout of Norovirus, and my coursework is finished, we felt it was high time to crank up the Chrimbo tunes and get the tree up.

We had a parcel from Lydia's mum this morning which included one of these lovely felt heart decorations that she'd made for each of us, and a little pot vaseline each too. They are hanging cheerfully in our kitchen doorway.

Such a lovely thought.
