A poor shot !

My journey up to Beth's nearly didn't happen.

I was keeping a close eye on the weather reports on the BBC website (not recommended)

It was forecasting heavy snow all the way up to Gairloch and I was becoming more and more anxious about travelling.

However I decided at 10.30 to set out on my journey.

Although the first part of the road was not very good and very slow, as soon as I went farther north the roads had been cleared and I made it safely to Beth's 7 and a half hours later!!

Visibility was not good for most of the journey and light was fading when I took this outside of Achnahalt.
