Christmas Tree In W.A
The indigenous people call it Moodjar, its Genus is Nuytsia Floribunda, in recent years its become known as the ChristmasTree, it's at its best and in full bloom from Dec-Jan, we see it in our suburbs now as the shire will plant these Native trees on newly developed land, we like to see it in the bush though (extra) as it adds a vibrant colour to the surrounding scorched grass and eucalyptus trees and with a wall to wall blue sky as a backdrop, its quite spectacular.
(can anyone spot the bird?)
