Tram A Terminus: La Gardette
I have been getting a bit lazy about posting and writing on here. I have to fight the laziness though. It is important for me to write down my experiences here.
Anyway, today is Friday the Thirteenth. I don't feel unlike. haha. It's just another day. So what did I do? I decided to go across the river and go to the end of Tram A. Line A is a bit weird because it splits into directions. One part of the line goes north and the other south. This time I think I went north.
The stop at La Gardette in the commune of Lormont was a bit boring. There wasn't really anything exciting except maybe for Le Parc séguinaud. This park was a big sports place with a rugby field, a track, a pool, a small basketball court, and a miniature castle. From Seguinaud Park you can see the tall suspension bridge that me, Rachel, and Elita saw at the Tram B terminus Calveau. Aside from that there was a neat valley that had a road right at the bottom. It looked something like this: here.
After my adventure, I was supposed to meet my travel buddy so that we could finalize our trip to Italy. I was a bit late since, I had to travel back across the river and go home to pick up my computer. I always seem to be a bit late when meeting her. So when I finally met her at Jean Eustache theater (where they have free wi-fi), we spent hours finding cheap deals to Rome, but there were so many difficulties with the cheap route that we opted for the more expensive and easier means of travel. We waited so long to buy our tickets since meeting each other was rather difficult because my travel buddy "had" to work on her project. For my next break, I'm going to start planning weeks in advance and get some monster travel deals.
