more birthday fun

The birthday joy overflows into the weekend. This morning was a very cold bike club for the children and then they played while I did my first run since Isaac. A very slow and very painful 6k. 80s kids will understand what I mean when I say that I felt like my run was basically a long and drawn out version of the truffle shuffle.

Eve was at a birthday party while Zeke, Isaac and I headed to the Christmas market and light switch on. Zeke had a go on the merry-go-round, making a beeline to ride on the Barbie Dream Jeep, he was loving life... I could totally imagine him hanging out in a jeep somewhere warm and sunny.

And then home again for another celebration, this time with Alfie and Joe and enough burgers to sink a ship.
